Mark Governor (Co-Owner, Recording Producer) has had a long and celebrated career as a recording producer, film composer and writer. His passion for yoga and his desire to make yoga practices taught by great teachers available to all resulted in the creation of the Yogi2Go website with his teacher, Tracee Newell. Mark has also studied with Rod Stryker in the Pure Yoga teacher-training program. His other yoga teachers include John Friend, Mela Butcher, and Everett Newell. Mark travels extensively, and truly believes the world is his yoga studio.
Tracee Newell (Co-Owner) shares a career as yoga teacher and successful film producer. Living yoga for over ten years led her to become the co-founder of Divine Motion Yoga, which was voted the best yoga studio in Los Angeles by CitySearch.com in 2002 and 2004 before relocating to the Mt. Shasta area in 2005.
Tracee is influenced by the Tantric tradition of Sri Vidya and has been studying with her teacher Yogarupa Rod Stryker in the Pure Yoga style for 5 years. She credits the practice and traditions of yoga with transforming her life to one that is filled with joy and fulfillment in the everyday. She offers pranams to other important teachers in her life including Bryan Kest, John Friend, Desiree Rumbaugh and Julian Walker. Tracee lives with her husband Everett Newell between Los Angeles and the magical mountain town of Dunsmuir, California. She leads workshops, immersions and retreats nationally.
Celeste Den (Associate Producer) is an actor and a yoga teacher in Los Angeles. She is blessed to be living her passion for both, and working with people who keep her grounded and inspired. Celeste received her acting training at the University of Florida and the California Institute of the Arts, and her yoga teacher trainings at City Yoga and Divine Motion Yoga.
Glenn Nishida (Recording Engineer) has recorded and co-produced albums, TV and film scores, and audio books at Pacifica Studios for over 25 years. He has recorded artists as diverse as Donovan, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and Chrissie Hynd as well as all the film scores of Mark Governor. His passion for capturing great audio quality without sacrificing authenticity and spontaneity has made him a favorite with many artists and producers in Los Angeles.
