Classes & Teachers Music Community About Us
1. How can I listen to classes?
All Yogi2Go files are in MP3 format.  You can listen to your classes on any computer or portable device that plays MP3s.  This is an audio file that is compressed to be smaller in size, but still not lose audio quality. This is the most popular audio file format, and most computers come with a program that plays MP3s.  The most well-known portable MP3 player is an iPod, but there are many others, and now many cell phones and PDAs play MP3 files as well, making it easy for you to take your yoga practice with you anywhere using Yogi2Go.
2. How do I choose a class?
We have 2 guides for you on our Learn More page to help you determine what class is right for you.  Check out New to Yoga and Which Class is Right for Me.
3. How do I purchase and download classes?
On our Learn More page, we have Step by Step instructions to help you through the purchase and downloading process, and also give you tips on playing the files on your computer or portable device.
4. What is the minimum connection speed I need to download my classes?
We recommend that you use DSL or Broadband connections with the Yogi2Go site.  Dial-up connections may be used, but the downloads will take much longer, and there is a possibility that your connection will time out before your download is finished, depending on the service you have.  We do not recommend using a dial-up connection slower than 56k.  Yogi2Go files are designed to be the optimum size for fast downloads without sacrificing quality.
5. Why are Yogi2Go classes divided into sections?
We have two main reasons for this.  The first is file size.  By splitting a class into smaller sections, you will be able to download them faster, as the files will be smaller.

The second reason is flexibility.  As Yogi2Go grows, we will be adding modified versions of class sections, so that you can add or replace modules to the classes you have already bought.  In this way, as your practice changes, the classes can change with you.  You will have options of different levels as well as different emphasis.
6. Is it safe to use my credit card on this site?  Is it secure?
Yes.  It is safe and secure. We use the highest level of SSL (secure socket layer) to keep all transactions and information submitted with orders secure.  We are certified by GeoTrust, and you can see the active certificate on our site with the current date and time displayed. For more information on security check out our Privacy Policy.
7. How are Yogi2Go classes recorded?
All our classes are recorded especially for the site at a professional recording studio.  We do not record live classes at a yoga studio, because we have found that the quality of the recording suffers.  Instead, each teacher specially prepares a practice knowing the students will be getting all their information from listening.  We use a yoga model as a reference at all our studio sessions so that the teachers can be sure their instruction will result in correct poses and postures.  Since many people will be listening with headphones, our classes are recorded in an intimate one-on-one style, rather than a recording of someone talking to a roomful of people.  We test every recording with yoga students of all levels to be sure that the classes are clear and easy to follow.  Our mission at Yogi2Go is to give you the best possible yoga experience using audio.
 8. How are the teachers selected for Yogi2Go?
All of the Yogi2Go teachers have been carefully chosen for their knowledge and specific expertise in the area of the practice they record for us.  All of our teachers have a minimum of 200 hours of training and have incorporated yogic philosophy into their daily lives, allowing them to embody the teachings of yoga.
9. How are the Music and Chants selected for Yogi2Go?
In our Music and Chants section, we want to bring you music that can be listened to as part of a practice, or as a supplement to one.  We choose artists and selections that have a wide range of musical and spiritual content, very different from the music usually found in “meditation and yoga” sections of record stores.  We often have exclusive cuts from artists that you cannot find anywhere else.  Rather than give you thousands of choices like some other music sites, we hand pick all the music on our site to bring you interesting musical journeys of the highest quality.
10. Can I buy your classes on CD or DVD?
Presently, Yogi2Go offers classes for download only.  We feel it is the most efficient and environmentally friendly way to distribute classes.  In the near future, we expect to have video content available to you as well.  To keep up to date with new classes and offerings, subscribe to our e-mail list.
